Meet our Community Resource Navigator
My name is Emmanuel Blanco and I am the Community Resource Navigator for the Galveston County Food Bank.
I was born in Brownsville, TX and have lived in the Houston area for 21 years now. I graduated from Pasadena High School and went on to attend San Jacinto College. I love serving at my church, First Church of Pearland, where I assist as a door greeter and a host team member welcoming our church visitors. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. As well as enjoying some of my hobbies such as going to the beach, attending football games, painting and listening to music.
In the past, I had worked for law firms, but decided to change fields to pursue a career in social services to help and serve the community.
I have high hopes of helping and reaching out to our community with the services we provide. As the Community Resource Navigator I can assist individuals with applying for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Children’s Medicaid (CHIP), Healthy Texas Women, and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).
