How is the Kids for Kidz food drive different than general food drives?

Kids for Kidz food drive helps to empower children of all ages to help other children in their community. Compared to general food drives, we ask for specific kid friendly items to be collected to support our Kidz Pacz summer meal program.

The current food donation item is Mac & Cheese microwavable cups. (any brand)

Who can participate in the Kids for Kidz food drive?

Any children who are part of a school class, club, group or organization can participate in the Kids for Kidz food drive.

How can students earn volunteer hours?

Students needing volunteer hours for their school, group, club or organization can earn volunteer service hour by donation.

Four 4-packs of Mac & Cheese cups = 1 hour of volunteer service

16 individual Mac & Cheese cups = 1 hour of volunteer service

Not for court ordered volunteer service.

How do I register to participate in the Kids for Kidz food drive?

You can register to participate by completing the registration form in the Kids for Kidz Food Drive Packet.

Where do I take my donation?

Donations are accepted at the GCFB Admin Building, 213 6th St N, Texas City 77590 (parking lot entrance is located off 3rd Ave N), Monday – Friday 8am to 3pm. Please call prior to delivery to notify staff.
