My name is Nadya Dennis and I am the Volunteer Coordinator for the Galveston County Food Bank! 

I was born at Fort Hood in Texas and grew up as an army brat raised traveling along with my family to multiple states and countries.  We finally settled in Friendswood, TX in 2000 and I graduated from Friendswood High in 2006.  I love visiting the beach with my wonderful family.  We currently have 12 chickens, a rabbit and 2 dogs that I love playing with as well!

As the Volunteer Coordinator I ensure that all activities needing the community’s support are fulfilled.  I am looking forward to expanding our volunteer reach as far as possible!  I can assist with any individuals or groups wanting to participate in our activities here at GCFB as well as individuals needing to complete Community Service hours.  I look forward to serving our community in the best possible way I can.
