DESCRIPTION:Galveston’s 61st Street Fishing Pier is hosting Reel In Hunger fishing tournament on behalf of the Galveston County Food Bank. \n$30 entry fee includes admission for day of enrollment\nWinning fish has the longest length by inches in ¼ inch increments (EXCLUDING ribbon fish\, any type of eels or snakes\, and stingrays)\nPrizes awarded for 1st place and Runner Up\n\n\n1st place 25% of registration pot\n\n\nRunner Up 15% of registration pot\n\n\nContest begins at 6:00 am Friday 4/29/22 and runs through 4:00 pm Sunday 5/1/2022\n\n\nParticipants must have a valid wristband for each day they fish\n\n\nContestant must be entered in the tournament before a catch can be considered\n\n\nCatch must be measured\, photographed\, and recorded by a pier employee\n\n\nCatch is measured from the tip of the mouth to the end of the tail\n\n\nCatch must be caught at the 61st fishing pier\n\n\nTwo rod maximum per participant (10 foot maximum)\n\n\nDo not have to be present to win\n\n\nPier rules and regulations\, including Texas Parks and Wildlife standards\, must be followed at all times\, violations will be disqualified
